Cyclones rout Panthers on Senior Day to close out regular season
2/14/2017 4:04 PM
SHG jumped out to a 41-14 halftime lead en route to a run away 80-32 victory over Decatur Eisenhower. It was Senior night as the Cyclones honored Julie Staten, Anna Lowis and Kenzie Trees before the game. The game started on festive note as Kenzie Trees took the court for the first time this season. She opened the scoring, hitting a deep three. She was quickly taken out to thunderous applause. The Panthers answered with their own three pointer. It was as close as Decatur would get for the rest of the night. From that point, the Cyclones started rolling and never looked back.
The Cycs put three girls in double figures. Payton Vorreyer and Olivia Hulcher had 14 a piece and Abbie Antonacci added 12.

SHG finishes the season 16-8. The Cycs open regional play Tuesday night in Jacksonville against Lanphier.
